Artist Bio
Growing up in Fort Wayne, my art interest was stimulated at age seven. Mother gave my brother and me paper and pencil to entertain ourselves while we sat on the front porch. That summer a polio epidemic closed all the local pools and mother kept us close to our home. My desire to become a full time artist after graduation from CCHS soon developed.
The years went by without the time for art as I was raising six children, became an EMS and reserve deputy. The EMS experience led me to become an active LPN
With my husbands inspiration and suppot my renewed quest to be a full time artist has gradually come about. You will find my work at the Peony Tea House 403 W Wayne. This lovely gallery is on the corner of West Wayne and Fairfield in Fort Wayne.
Somewhere in my paintings you will find my Logo Name Dinga, given to me by my grandson.
It is my privilege to teach art to children after school for the Fort Wayne Schools Neighborhood Connection Program.
My goal is to continue to contribute any way I can to the Art programs in my Fort Wayne community
